β’ Federal Worker Loans: Homebuyers who are federal employees could experience delays in closings due to employment or income verification issues.
β’ Federal Lien Releases: Payoff or release of federal tax liens may be delayed, which can hold up clear title and closings.
β’ Bankruptcy Proceedings: Any bankruptcy cases requiring federal court involvement could be slowed or put on hold, impacting borrowers coming out of bankruptcy or needing clearance.
β’ Other Federal Closings: Any loan requiring federal agency sign-off, verification, or document handling could see delays until government operations resume.
