Getting out the chopsticks and taking the woks down for the Asian Nites we will have this week starting tomorrow (Tuesday 08/26) from 430-830 pm and continuing on Wednesday (08/27) same time. Mama Rose made her sublime Vietnamese Eggrolls and delicious Pho broth today. If you havent tried her homemade Vietnamese Eggrolls, you're really missing out-- you won't find any better unless you make a trip to Vietnam. We are running our seasonal Palisade Peach specials, including our (almost famous) Chicken Palisade-- Almond crusted chicken breast topped with palisade peaches in a peach butter brandy sauce and the Peachy Keen Porkchops-- 2 boneless pork loin chops charbroiled and glazed with chef Papa's homemade peach BBQ sauce and a peach compote made of sauteed peaches, onions, and jalepenos. We also have the Italian Peach Shortcake--a butter poundcake spread with our homemade Amaretto mascarpone Mousse and topped with sliced fresh Palisade Peaches! It is so good! Talk about a nice way to end a meal! So come get them while you can because when Palisade Peach season is over, these dishes will go away until next August.
