For Jaime, theatre began as a refuge — a place where a kid who wasn’t always accepted could suddenly shine. Later in life, after suffering a life-changing tragedy, the theater was there for him once more. After that, the work became about more than performance...

For Jaime, theatre is healing. It’s creating a tribe. It’s giving people something that feels like home.

“That first laugh that I ever got… it was like — this is what I want to do.” 

For Paul, it started with a choir solo in elementary school. That spark turned into a lifetime in theatre — directing in the Valley since 1992, hands-on in rehearsal rooms, shaping performances, pushing actors to stay fully present.

“The stage is a scary place… but it feeds your soul.” 

Paul believes theatre isn’t about money. It’s about collaboration. About courage. About that electric exchange between audience and performer. Outside of family, it’s the most important part of his life.
