First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to all the incredible individuals who supported me throughout my re-election campaign for mayor. Your unwavering dedication and belief in my leadership meant the world to me. Despite our collective efforts, I unfortunately did not secure the re-election as mayor. While this may be a disappointing outcome, I believe it is crucial to reflect on the journey and the impact we have made over the years.

Throughout my tenure as mayor and together with the incredible team of city employees we have achieved significant milestones and positive changes in our community. From infrastructure improvements, incredible business growth, improvement to our parks, roads, police, fire, emergency management and drainage all to better the quality of life for our residents.

Over the past 10 years, we have strived to make our city a better place for all residents. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the relentless support and tireless work of everyone who stood by my side. Although this loss may be disheartening, it is important to remember that setbacks are opportunities for growth.

I am more determined than ever to continue fighting for the betterment of our community and its residents. I want to extend my deepest appreciation to my campaign team, volunteers, friends, and especially my wife and family who dedicated countless hours to ensure our message reached every corner of our city. Your commitment and enthusiasm were truly inspiring, and I am forever grateful for your support.

Lastly, I would like to congratulate the newly elected Mayor Adrian Gonzalez as he takes on this important role. The challenges our city faces require unity and collaboration, and I encourage everyone to come together in the best interest of our community. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support. Together, we have accomplished great things, and I am confident that our shared vision for a better future will continue to guide us in the coming years. God Bless you and God Bless Weslaco.
