🐝 Hey friends! A quick heads-up!

We have discovered that a family of hornets (Bees? Wasps? We're not getting closer to inspect them) have made a home above our lawn-side entrance and they DO NOT like it when the door opens. We have a feeling they won't appreciate books dropping into the nearby book return either...

🚧 We've placed cones across the front steps, but for now, please use the parking lot book drop instead. We'd much rather your books make it back safely than have your skin feel a little extra spicy.

We have someone scheduled to remove the nest next week. Until then, please give our uninvited guests a little extra space.

Today’s pin is a bit of a mystery.

We know it’s an older rhinestone brooch, but beyond that, we’re still searching for its story. The sweeping ribbon design and sparkling floral clusters certainly have classic vintage charm—but we’d love to know more.

There's still time to stock up on books, movies, puzzles, and more before we close! We'll be open:
📖 Wednesday: 2:00–7:00 PM
📖 Thursday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

And don't forget—our digital collections never take a holiday. You can borrow eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, and more anytime through Libby and Hoopla.

We'll reopen on Monday, July 6, from 2:00–7:00 PM.
