Our friends and research partners from the Urban Ecology Center visited the Blue Lotus Center last week to conduct a biodiversity study around our pond. Their research focused on damselflies, dragonflies, salamanders, and hedges, and they invited our apprentices and Program Specialist, Elsa, to participate in the fieldwork.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, contribute to meaningful ecological research, and spend time together outdoors. A good time was had by all!
