Wrapped up another day of pre-season testing this past Friday. 🏁

The first-ever Halloween Hundred is officially in the books, and what an incredible race it was! We started in P2 and fought hard to finish in P1. It was a thrilling victory in a highly competitive field filled with talented drivers. The competition was fierce, but our team pushed through. A huge thank you to the Purdue Grand Prix Foundation for hosting this fantastic event. We’re hopeful that this becomes a continued tradition for years to come. 🏁🏆

Last weekend, Excalibur Racing participated in our first race of the Fall 2024 season at Whiteland Raceway Park. Although we retired our kart after the heat, it was an incredible learning experience for all members, both new and returning. We are extremely proud of the results we achieved on the track, being the fastest kart during practice and qualifying second. Additionally, we were excited to bring new members, who had the opportunity to experience the intensity of being part of the Pit Crew on race day. We commend their dedication to learning and integrating themselves into our team. We look forward to our next race and everything the season has in store.

This past weekend, Excalibur Racing competed in the 67th annual Purdue Grand Prix, a cornerstone event at Purdue. For the first time since 2021, we not only participated but qualified in 11th place out of 70 teams. In order to qualify you must place in the top 30. This achievement was thrilling given that our team mainly consists of freshmen and due to falling short of qualification the previous years.

Our pit crew's commitment has been nothing short of extraordinary. Just the night before qualifying, our roll cage was damaged due to a racing incident, yet our team worked tirelessly through the night to repair it. On race day, we faced mechanical and carburetor issues which ultimately placed us 21st. Despite these challenges, we've laid a strong foundation and grown together as a team that has set us up for success in the 2024-2025 season.

We're already back in the shop, preparing for next season and have big plans. Thanks to everyone for your support this year. We look forward to seeing you at the next Purdue Grand Prix!
