This handsome 6-year-old Boxer is ready to find a family to call his own. Zephyr is a big, lovable boy, weighing in at 88 pounds, with an even bigger heart.

Zephyr came to Coastal Boxer Rescue after his family made the difficult and selfless decision to surrender him. As a single mom with another baby on the way, they knew they could no longer give him the time and attention he deserves. They loved him enough to put his needs first, and now we're determined to find him the perfect forever home.

❤️ 6 years old
❤️ 88-pound male Boxer
❤️ Neutered
❤️ Up to date on all vaccinations
❤️ Seasonal allergies that are managed with Cytopoint during the summer
❤️ Lived with a 15-month-old child and did well
❤️ Can be selective with other dogs, so proper introductions are important
❤️ Cats are unknown

Zephyr is currently staying in boarding, but what he really needs is a family and a comfy couch to call his own. He's hoping someone will see beyond the kennel walls and give him the second chance he deserves.

💗 Bree is a gorgeous 7-year-old Boxer with soulful eyes, a wiggly Boxer butt, and a heart full of love for her people.
🥰 Bree is the kind of dog that reminds you why people fall in love with Boxers. She's calm, incredibly sweet, very smart, and happiest when she's by your side. Give her a toy, a nice walk, and her favorite humans, and she's one happy girl!
🐾 Bree's Personality & Habits:
✔️ Potty trained�✔️ Crate trained�✔️ Can be trusted loose in the house�🦮 Walks beautifully on a leash�🤩 Knows her commands (sit, stay, come, down, and more!)�🧸 Loves her toys�🥰 Loves being with her people�😆 Has the classic Boxer wiggle that will make you smile every single day.
💙 Bree is a wonderful girl, but she also has a little Boxer confidence! She likes to believe she's in charge, so she'll do best with an experienced owner who will kindly and consistently set the rules and boundaries. Bree responds beautifully to direction and is eager to please—she simply thrives when she knows her person is the leader.
🦋 Social Life
👨‍👩‍👧 Loves people and enjoys meeting visitors.�👧 Does well with children, although older kids would be the best fit because of her size.�🐕 Bree would like to be your one and only dog. While she has become selective with other dogs as she's gotten older, she is perfectly content soaking up all of your love herself.�🐈 Cats are unknown.
🚙 Bree enjoys walks, loves her toys, is excellent at the veterinarian, and settles nicely in the home. She has a calm, loving nature that makes her an easy companion.
🩺 Bree is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on all vaccinations, and is on heartworm and flea prevention. She is healthy, well cared for, and all of her veterinary records are available through Coastal Boxer Rescue.
❤️ Bree came into rescue after her elderly owner underwent surgery and was no longer physically able to care for her. She has been lovingly fostered over the past few months and is now ready to find the forever family she deserves.
🏡 Bree would love a fenced yard, but it's not required if she's given daily walks and time with her people.
