Esteemed Citizens of Clay County,

I want to address recent media and advertisements that have surfaced, allegedly tied to my campaign but published without my knowledge, permission or authorization. I want to make it abundantly clear, I had no involvement in these publications. All past, present, and forthcoming campaign publications endorsed and sanctioned by me or my team will prominently display the declaration, "Paid for by the Committee to Elect Ramirez Williams Sheriff."


Since the beginning of my campaign, I have maintained a commitment to integrity and a clean race. I firmly believe our community deserves a campaign based on sound principles, and I have upheld this standard throughout.

I understand that there are ongoing allegations surrounding my opponent, which may have led to these publications. However, I want to further emphasize I have no connection to those allegations and I am running my own campaign based on MY qualifications, MY experience, and a PROVEN track record.

I am dedicated to serving our community with the utmost professionalism and diligence. I am committed to the principles our law enforcement should stand for, and I am confident in my ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the Sheriff's office.
