I’ve been using this approach for years.

I was trained as a diplomat. My job was to represent institutions, governments, and causes bigger than myself. In diplomacy, it’s rarely about “I.” It’s about “we.”

When I started building my own business, I carried that mindset with me.
I hid behind my credentials, my expertise, and what I did.
And for a long time, people knew my job title better than they knew me.

Everything changed when I started sharing more of my personal journey.

But NOT every detail of my life (like some sort of lifestyle guru)... but the experiences, lessons, failures, observations, and perspectives that shaped how I see the world.

Why does this work?

Because people connect with PEOPLE. They want to know:
* what you stand for
* how you think
* what you’ve overcome
* why you do what you do

That’s the stuff they remember.
