Lip discoloration can happen for a number of reasons:
-genetics
- sun exposure
- smoking
- natural pigment within the skin
For some people, it’s their natural baseline. For others, it is something that has changed over time.
+ while it may not bother everyone, for some, it can absolutely affect self-confidence.
This is why lip neutralization is not just about adding color. First, we have to create balance within the tissue so the final healed result can look softer, healthier, and more even.

Adding full-face definition and dimension with lip blush 🦋
When the lips are similar in tone to the surrounding skin, the lip border can visually disappear, making the lips look smaller or less defined than they actually are.
💡 Think: pale lips on light skin, or deeper lips on tan skin.
Once we enhance the lip color, the lips and skin read as two distinct features rather than blending into one another.
By blending science and art, we create a custom hue that brings contrast, balance, and definition while still honoring her natural features. 🌈
