New England Spring Cluster

Many of you have stepped up in the past to help with the AKC Meet The Breeds we hold for six days during the Big E Fair in West Springfield by bringing your dogs to help educate the public. We are traditionally the first 3 days and the last 3 days. In 2024 that translates to September 13-15 and 27-29.

This year in order for us to host this event we need people to set up, take down and man the information tables, as the regular crew members all have scheduling conflicts, particularly on Sept 27-29. The MTB event runs from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm each day.

At this moment our space in Farm-a-Rama is available on the middle weekend, Sept 20-22 in the event we can get workers for that weekend INSTEAD of 27-29.

I will still be able to collect the sign-ups online like last year, and will organize the parking passes and entry tickets. We need volunteers on the first weekend to man the tables and put everything away on Sunday night in a space reserved for us by ESE less than 10 feet away.

On the second weekend we need volunteers to unpack and display the materials, man the tables and break the display down again on Sunday night. We have someone to retrieve the boxes of pamphlets, tablecloths and grooming tables on Monday the 30th after the fair.

SHARE YOUR BREED WITH THE PUBLIC! We are once again holding an AKC Meet The Breeds during the Big E Fair in West Springfield, MA. Our dates are September 15 -17 and Sept 29 - Oct 1. Parking passes and admission tickets will be provided for each of the four stations. Each station will have 2 chairs and a grooming table if needed.
