So incredibly proud of this boy! He Graduated today from UMASS ISENBERG with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. He started his journey at Westfield State in 2020. 2022 he was accepted into the Isenberg program. That had to be put on hold because of his Cancer diagnosis. He fought this terrible disease for a second time with a smile on his face, a wonderful attitude and great community support. He won again, has his degree, Madie by his side, who just graduated from Elms Nursing school. On to his Master’s degree by December, take his CPA and a job with PwC. My ❤️ is full.
I can’t say enough thank you’s to all the people who helped him/us along this journey. I hope you all know how much it has meant to us. ❤️❤️🎗️🎗️>

Hey friends,

I went back august 8th for my 2 weeks of methotrexate. It was an easy 2 weeks. After that I now have my 6 day visit for some of the more nasty grueling chemo. I got home last Friday from methotrexate chemo and had felt a little funky and ended up having a fever that lasted the entire weekend. I didn’t let the weekend go to waste though. Monday rolls around and I go back to Boston to start my next chemo, which instead I got some antibiotics and sent home and told to come back Wednesday. Wednesday rolls around and we are just about 10 minutes away from Dana Farber when we get a call saying a water pipe burst at Boston Childrens and I would not get admitted for chemo today, and to come back tomorrow. So we (my father and I) went to the King Tut exhibit at SoWa Boston. Now today we show up, there are 2 rooms waiting for discharge and I am waiting with another patient to be admitted. We normally arrive at 11:30am and get all hooked up and blood work done and just wait around for the call. Around 3pm the nurse lets us know one of the rooms is no longer available so we are going to have a long wait. So Dana Farber put us up into a hotel nearby for the wait. A doctor on the floor I’ll be admitted to called and said the room should be ready around 10:30pm but pharmacy is backed up and I won’t be getting starting chemotherapy tonight, but I should tomorrow. That’s where I am now writing this post. Sometimes everything ends up getting delayed and pushed back, and this is just one of those weeks! After this mess cleans itself up, I’ll be back on a 2 week break after I complete this 6 days.

Jonathan
