Hot day uniform: 90s vintage satin camis as everyday tops ✨
Lane Bryant + Luci Anne—easy, floaty, made for heat like this.

I’ve always been the one moving on camera—dancing, joking, existing in motion.

What people don’t always see is that confidence and comfort haven’t always matched for me. I can look sure of myself and still feel unsure in my body.

That’s been the truth for a long time.

But over time—through having a kid, getting older, and just staying in my life instead of stepping out of it—I’ve stopped making that the reason not to show up.

My body is my body. It moves, it changes, it exists. That’s it.

If anything, I hope seeing that makes it a little easier for someone else to take up space too—however that looks for them. On hot days, in movement, in sport, in whatever life they’re in.

Wear what you want. Show what you want. Be in it.

Also—it’s cool and calm in the shop today if you need somewhere easy to be.

We’re open 11–5 ✨

I stopped at the river last night and couldn’t keep walking.

The Presumpscot at Saccarappa Falls — loud, constant, alive. It pulled me out of my head the way water does when you let it.

I grew up on an island in Maine, surrounded by coastline and forest. I’ve spent years doing land work — farming, trail building, stewardship. That kind of work teaches you something: your body already knows how to slow down. It’s the world we built that forgot.

We industrialized so fast. We consume so fast. And somewhere in that speed, a lot of us lost the thread back to the thing that makes us feel like ourselves — dirt, water, grass under your feet, the smell of something real.

Bloom is a consignment shop inside the Dana Warp Mill — a historic textile mill in southern Maine, on Wabanaki land, on the banks of this river. We’re queer-owned, and we carry everything from everyday basics to vintage, designer, and everything in between. The mill has its own story: it was known in the 1800s for treating its workers well, which was nearly unheard of. That history matters to me. It’s part of why this building feels like the right place.

We exist as a response to overconsumption — bringing more circular economy to our community, extending the life of what already exists. But we also exist to create a place where you can just breathe.

Whether you love fashion or you dread getting dressed in the morning. Whether you come in in your sweats or you’ve been waiting all week for an excuse to try something on. Whatever your body looks like, whatever your budget is — you’re welcome here. No pressure, no judgment, no rules about who gets to care about what they wear.

A boutique setting, curated for quality — from affordable everyday finds to one of a kind pieces. Sizes XXS to 5X. Clothing is genderless here.

Slow down for a second. Stop at the river. Your body is probably asking for it.

Then come find us. 🤍

New inventory later today.

Vintage-inspired cotton blend halter, fit and flare, light as can be. Perfect for a pinup picnic — or dress it up for something a little more formal. Size XL.

The overlay said it: not vintage, doesn’t fit me — it’s not even zipped in the back. Cute? Extremely.

So many times y’all comment KEEP IT, and I love you for that. Truth is, the things I actually keep rarely make it onto the internet — and I’m trying to get better at sharing the reality behind the angle. Because sometimes the internet is an optical illusion, and try-on videos are no exception. What looks like a perfect fit is sometimes just good posture and a strategic camera.

That’s kind of the whole point of this place, honestly. Clothes aren’t supposed to perform for you, and you’re not supposed to perform for them. Come try things on your actual body, in actual daylight, and see what’s real.
