With nearly 50 years of experience serving families with mental health issues, Concord Counseling Services wanted to support caregivers in the important task of caring for their adult loved one, realizing the need for time to refresh, reenergize and recharge. Through the Concord Counseling Services Respite Program for Caregivers, experienced professionals provide quality care at the same level we would desire for our own family member. The care is provided at no cost to allow the caregiver to become an even better version of themselves while at the same time providing socialization for their loved one in their home or through activities in the community.

The services provided are individually based on the interests of your loved one and provided at the pace the caregiver and loved one are most comfortable. Professionally trained companions can spend time either in the home or take them to activities in the community for additional socialization and conversation. There are flex funds available to pay for various activities.

We can’t be you or clone you, but we can provide an expanded community that’s the next best thing.
