• Date and Time: Saturday, September 19, 2026 • 2:00 pm–4:30 pm

Join us for a restorative Forest Bathing experience.

Richard Collins, a Certified Nature Therapy Guide, will lead the group through a guided meditation that heightens the senses.

Spending time in the woods is an easy way to refresh one’s outlook and has been proven to reduce stress, anxiety, negative emotions, reduce blood pressure, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. This experience may help participants to engage and refresh the five senses, absorb the natural oils released by the trees (aromatherapy), help regulate blood pressure, and restore a sense of calm and appreciation for nature.

Taking place at the Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, NJ, this event is a part of an ongoing series of self-care and wellness events sponsored by Caring Contact as part of our Caring Contact Wellness Council Initiatives, to support our volunteer Listeners and the community at large.
