I have been teaching piano lessons in my home since I was 15 years old. Since then I added a degree in Piano Pedagogy and 40 years of teaching experience.
Here’s Mordecai playing the famous Polonaise Op. 53 by Chopin. I never tried this learn this due to the LH octaves in the middle section 🤣 Mordecai is 17…for one more week 😅
Here’s Malachi playing Minuet by Erkki Melartin, who was a Finnish composer. Malachi is 10, and took group lessons at school for one school year and then started lessons with me less than 2 years ago!
Derek is playing Nocturne in E minor by Chopin. Derek is 14.
Geoffrey gets so nervous for recordings…which exactly why I do it 🤣 Here he is, playing Hacia la Cima by Manuel Ponce. Geoffrey is a senior in HS.
Malachi and I playing the Pachelbel Canon…as a Canon 😉
