Looking to bring more mindfulness into your day? Start small:
1. Practice deep breathing. Breathe in for 4 counts, hold for 1, and exhale for 5. Repeat several times and notice how your body feels.
2. Take a mindful walk. As you walk, pay attention to the sights, sounds, and sensations around you. If worries arise, acknowledge them without judgment and gently bring your focus back to the present moment.
3. Eat with intention. Slow down during meals and pay attention to flavors, textures, and hunger cues. Mindful eating can help you become more aware of your body's needs and enhance your enjoyment of food.
