"Myra was an enrolled member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and remained deeply connected to her community throughout her life. She attended Haskell Indian Nations University and later made her home in Colorado, where she devoted herself to raising her children as a single mother, meeting lifeās challenges with strength and determination, including caring for a son with muscular dystrophy. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she held many jobs over the years before retiring from Quest. In her retirement, she found great joy in returning each summer to the Fond du Lac Reservation, taking her grandchildren on memorable road trips to attend powwows and stay connected to their heritage. Above all, Myra cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the center of her life."ā

"Solomon was a creative and free-spirited soul who found joy in music, art and the outdoors. He had a deep love for playing music and creating art. A talented musician, he played the guitar and many other instruments by ear. This gift came naturally to him, as did his ability to draw. He was passionate about rock climbing and used it as a way to escape the problems of the world and connect with others... Solomon had a passion for life and a unique ability to see others in ways that many could not. His heart was full of Love, which many felt and experienced, and he made a lasting impression on everyone he met. "ā
