Utopian globalists view this as the fulfillment of their dream of a perfectible New World Order that will come with an explosion of information. Some are even wildly hopeful that through science it will be possible to attain an eternity in their present human state, by means of trans humanism. Post-modern sophisticated pagans re-imagine a heaven without a sovereign God and the blissfully anticipate the fulfillment of their lofty dream of man himself becoming god. For quite some time New Agers have expressed their dream of a coming "Age of Aquarius".

Dominionist quasi-Christians entertain similar Utopian views. They hold to a militant positivism, affirming that the church must become a people without spot, wrinkle, or blemish before Christ will return. As they see it, Christians must gain personal spiritual empowerment to dominate the world. This Dominion Theology is no different than Scientology.

Dominionists believe they, through their powerful apostles and prophets, must achieve this dominion over the church, and others across this world, before Messiah will even bother to return. Then when they, in the triumph of their religious humanism, have attained rulership over the world Christ will return. But He will only come back momentarily to hand out medals to the five-fold apostolic leaders up on stage at the bema. Then He wil be departing again, leaving them to rule the world. This is the belief and practice of the Nicolaitans, (a word which in Greek means “conquerors of the laity”. In Revelation 2 Jesus said that He hated this. In fact He stated it twice.

Conservatives and and traditionalists take a somewhat dimmer view of the singularity. Some with a dystopian expectation are fearful of a future with fallen man destroying all life on this planet with nuclear and zero-point energy weapons of mass destruction. There is confirmation of this concern in the words of Jesus in the Olivet Discourse. He said that unless those days of the end-time apostasy and rebellion of man were not cut short, (by the return of Messiah), no flesh on this earth, plant, animal, or human, would survive. So here we have some basis for Greenies to show their worth-ship to more than just Nature, and a better devotion than just hugging trees.

That we are now living in an unfolding convergence of events is now being becoming abundantly clear. This is now being widely recognized. This coming climax, whether it be a consummation of human evolution or the apex of human folly and with it the possibility of redemption, is being referred to as “the singularity”. The word "singularity" captures the sense of there being a grand conclusion to the story of man.

Biblical evangelical Christians with their emerging understanding end-time Bible prophecy, see no immediate Utopia. Instead they see a coming time of trial and testing, even a time of witness in in tribulation before the heavens roll back, space-time unzips, and a vortex between heaven and earth is revealed in the Day of the Lord. So for them they see the “great reset” as the return of Messiah on Judgment Day, a Day of Reckoning for all mankind, the living and the dead. Then, and only then, and only with people He has shown favor to in the Sheep-Goat Judgment, will He issue His passports for mortals to enter into His Peace on earth, in the glorious Millennium of Messiah. Those He has glorified, the living and the dead, will minister with Him from an extra-dimensional New Jerusalem.

And the true singularity?
It will be in Messiah, even as he is invited into human hearts, and as He ministers and rules from His Holy City.

Colleague Scott Harwell did his first Zoom YouTube on what he calls Grafting Theology. This is basically the same as the growing biblical conversation on Commonwealth Theology, that big looming matter of the Restoration of the Congregation / Congregation of Israel.

These issues are being brought out of the scriptures among a growing number of colleagues. They include Hebrew scholar, pastor, and author, Dr. Doug Hamp, Greek scholar and author Chris Steinle, Hebrew scholar and author Gian Luca Morotti from Italy, author and conference speaker Doug Krieger, Messianic conversation starter Gary Poisson, Canadian concert cellist, pastor, and Hebrew scholar, Peter Wiebe, fellow Australian biblical scholar Janette Andrejowich of sharingsharpens dot ca, Ed Doss, and Pastor Stephen Hebbe.

This was a deep spring type biblical study looking into the question of who comprised Israel way back when, and how people on both sides of Calvary, by Grace, through faith, were and are today, grafted into the combined Commonwealth / Congregation of Israel. The central scripture here is Roman chapter 11. I created and edited in the PowerPoint illustrations, scripture references, etc.

In the original Zoom session Scott, an attorney, presented his legal brief proving his case. Brief? Ha ha! Far from it! The flow of evidence was coming before the court fast and furious. It was like trying to drink water from a fire hose! I had to create over 100 PowerPoint Slides just to keep up with him and steady the veritable torrent of Biblical info he was presenting. You might need to look at the video a couple of times and pause it at certain points to take it all in.

This thesis does present a significant challenge to the traditional religious perspectives. It very definitely upsets the status quo, in both Jewish and Christian establishments. Possibly it will prove to be a blockbuster, with, “a whole lot of shaking goin’ on.”

But that is OK.
That is how epiphanies and Eureka! moments happen.
