"Do not hesitate to do their online acne program because it is LIFE CHANGING!
I am astounded with my results! My skin has not been this clear in 15 years, and this is the first time I have ever felt in control of my acne. Not my acne controlling me.
I am relieved of not constantly thinking about my acne all day, and I no longer stressed about my face because NAC gave me the tools to manage a pimple when it appears.
I worked with Brittney, and she was wonderful! I appreciate the honest communication and realistic expectations that are set when doing this online program.
Believe the hype in these reviews and trust the process. You will not regret it!" -Abby O., Actual Client, Facebook Review

All vitamins are good for you, right? Generally, this is true, but if you have acne-prone skin, this suddenly becomes a false statement.
If your acne has flared up or seems to be getting worse, you may want to look in your medicine cabinet for the following supplements that can cause acne.
🛑Biotin- One of the worst offenders when it comes to acne because you would think that this supplement is good for acne- but it is not. Also known as B7 and Vitamin H, Biotin is already naturally produced by the body. Taking these supplements is not only unnecessary, but the excess amount of biotin causes acne. Since biotin is in hair, skin and nail vitamins, it continues to fly off the shelves.
🛑B-12- Naturally found in animal and dairy products, is essential to the body. Vegetarians and vegans or those not getting enough B12 in their diet can have serious health problems. However, an excess of B12 has been shown to cause a disruption in the skin bacteria known as Propionibacterium acnes.
🛑Multivitamins- Most multivitamins contain iodine and biotin (B7), which when consumed on a regular basis, has been known to cause acne. If you are consuming more than the 150 mcg Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of Iodine, then you are consuming too much. Keep in mind that is a daily total including food. If you eat any dairy products, seafood, seaweeds, soy products or “salty” foods, then you are already possible overdosing on iodine.

Research shows there is a definite link between stress and acne breakouts.
Simply put, stress activates the adrenal glands to produce extra androgen hormones which eventually results in inflamed acne breakouts in acne-prone skin. These extra hormones stimulate the sebaceous glands in the skin and can trigger a breakout.
So what can be done?!
Firstly, we can start with incorporating small but impactful practices to help reduce everyday stress.
This can be different for everyone, but we suggest trying out simple things like conscious breathing exercises, regular exercise, aroma therapy, guided meditation, etc. 🧘♀️
Secondly, providing our bodies the essential missing nutrients it needs to repair, strengthen and support our adrenal glands is very beneficial.
Our Clove Hill Adrenal Formula is designed specifically for acne prone skin to provide those missing nutrients.
That way, when you’re experiencing high anxiety or conflict, facing deadlines or emergencies or trauma, you can repair your overworked and burnt-out adrenal glands.
