In partnership with Pathlights – a social services organization in the SouthWest suburbs of Cook County - on March 21, 2024, Huck Bouma PC attorney Steven Sutera presented Part One of an Estate Planning series at the Oak Lawn Public Library titled “Wills, Trusts and Advanced Directives”.

Steven discussed how Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney assist with distribution after death and protect you, your loved ones and your assets in case of disability. He also facilitated a discussion on how long-term care can be paid for, either privately or with Medicaid.

Part Two “You’ve Set Up Your Estate Plan – Now How Do You Make It Work?” is scheduled for April 4, 2024.

In cooperation with Naperville Rotary After Dark and our friends at Empire Burgers & Brew, Huck Bouma PC was thrilled to be able to share some Christmas cheer with local nursing home residents. We were honored to deliver over 1,850 Holiday cards containing yuletide wishes during this festive season. The cards were delivered to 17 different facilities in the surrounding area.

The received responses were deep and heartfelt.

The deep personal knowledge of community is important. A strong community provides an environment of safety and security.
