Remember when the internet was obsessed with that "No Regerts" tattoo?
Honestly, it may be one of the most self-aware tattoos ever created.

So today, let's celebrate the artwork, the memories, the stories, and yes... even the occasional spelling error.

You don't have an hour to practice self care. But you probably have 60 seconds.

One of the quickest techniques to calm your nervous system is called 4-7-8 breathing:
1. Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds
2. Hold your breath for 7 seconds
3. Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 seconds

Repeat this 3-4 times. Why does it work?

The long, controlled exhale tells your brain that you're safe. It helps shift your body out of "fight-or-flight" mode and into a calmer, more relaxed state. Your heart rate slows, muscle tension decreases, and your mind has a chance to reset.

Will it solve every stressful situation? No.
But it can help you respond instead of react.

Whether you're a first responder, healthcare worker, teacher, parent, or just having one of those days, this is a simple tool worth keeping in your back pocket.

Sometimes the fastest way to regain control... is to simply take a breath.
