Moving foward together...
Moving forward together...
Happy Monday, CCWaukers! We are grateful for the offers of help, the financial giving and the prayers upon prayers as we transition back to worshipping in our churches! Thank you for your support and faith. It streghthens our community.
It is a testament of faith when you realize that even with a closed campus, ministry continues in some form and as Baptismal waters flow, the message of Christ finds its way to bring life to people. We have experienced spiritual and stewardship growth during this time and the community finds way to spread the Good News of Jesus through both modified traditional ways and new ways. Yes, your God given talents have been called upon in so many forms! The Domestic Church has sprouted new roots and we encourage you to continue to develop those .
There are many questions out there about HOW we will return. Our priests, staff and parish commissions will plan and sort out the details in the weeks ahead. It is a monumental task that everyone is approaching with profound love and awareness. Communications will be shared on the Catholic Community of Waukesha website, bulletin and page. Any video message will be similarily posted as well as on the Catholic Community of Waukesha YouTube channel (subscribe to the YouTube channel and receive notifications when new videos are posted).
In the meantime, please stay connected, ask your neighbor and fellow parishioners if they are connected. If they are not on social media, encourage them to visit our website or to call us (262-547-6555 x1306). For the past seven weeks, our staff and volunteers have been calling all 4500 households in our community. The calls started with our most vulnerable parishioners and our Wisdom community (parishioners 70+) and currently continue to the main body of our members. Hopefully, you were able to take the call, call back or listen to the message. The time and resources dedicated to this effort was to connect to each one of you. Have faith and know the church cares, loves and desires to be present for you.
The next few weeks will bring challenges we could never have anticipated facing. It will require all of us to work together in order to support one another. Let us do so with love, patience and charity. Alleluia, may God be with us all!
