So many flowers on this umbel. Has anyone ever counted them ;-) Maybe with the "she loves me, she loves me not" game? And so many little bugs and yet the flowers look perfect. I wonder what the bugs relationship with this flower is..... So many worlds within our amazing world.

Beargrass is blooming! They stand tall on a stalk and sprinkle themselves through out the forest like torches of light. Seems there might be 100 or more flowers on each stalk. The first image has a unique top to the flower, a double, which is fun to see. The second photo is more commonly how we see them.

I adore orchid season. Elegant unique creatures that rise from the soil of earth and grace us for a brief visit. These have a wonderful scent that is also unique.
