Message for Today: Frustration and Expectations

Most disappointment and frustration comes from our unmet expectations of others. Think about that for a moment. Ask yourself how many times you’ve wasted energy being upset about someone else not doing or saying what you thought they should? Even though you never said a word, you just had an expectation because ‘that’s what I would have done/said if I were them’.

Sorry, lol, but that’s just dumb. You are not them, they are not you. Yet, you expect them to be and think like you?

Your way may not be my way, your thoughts are not my thoughts. It doesn’t mean either is right or wrong, just different.

We really do place ridiculous and unrealistic expectations of other people and we try to hold them to OUR standard instead of their own.

If you want to be less frustrated then stop trying to fix, change, manipulate, or dominate others. Let people be who they are and you be who you are. If you focus on being your best self, you won’t have time to worry about changing anyone else. And you know what ends up happening when you change YOU? Everything around you seems to positively change, all on its own, without your unsolicited help. 🤣😂🥰

Be the example of unconditional love and light instead of criticism and judgement. It’s way more peaceful!
