Wichita County Historical Commission earns distinguished service award for the fourth time The Wichita County Historical Commission has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award for the fourth time.

The Wichita County Historical Commission honors those who have sacrificed for our freedom. Their gift to each of us should not be forgotten.

Members of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas Government Landmark Commission and the Wichita County Historical Commission refinished markers on the lawn of the Wichita County Courthouse. These markers honored those who had sacrificed for our country.
