The only way to "keep the peace" with a narcissist is by being at peace with the fact that things will always be an un-peaceful cyclone of bull sh*t with this person.

Trying to keep the peace with people in general is a normal thing to want to do.

The thing is, when you're dealing with normal people peace already exists and you don't really have to work towards keeping it.

It's just there.

With a narcissist, however, it's a different story!

They're committed to chaos, not peace.

Be at peace with the fact there's nothing you can say or do to change this person, they are a grown adult.

Be at peace with knowing that if they cared and were capable of change, it would've happened by now.

Be at peace with knowing you've already done more than enough to salvage this relationsh*t, and healing from this is possible.
