Featuring Tanner Gleeson and the cast of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER at Timber Lake Playhouse. Choreography by Chaz Wolcott

Live from Timber Lake … It’s Saturday Night!: “Saturday Night Fever,” at the Timber Lake Playhouse through June 8 06/03/2025

“But the real star of the show is Chaz Wolcott’s jaw-dropping choreography. It’s crisp, it’s tight, and seeing 16 ensemble members flawlessly execute the “Stayin’ Alive” opener is a sight to behold. Wolcott’s choreo continues to surprise as the show goes on, finding new styles and ways to employ the ensemble. It seems Chaz Wolcott has been on a whirlwind tour these past few years. While eager students had been flowing into his musical theater classes at Broadway Dance Center for years, he chose to take a big risk during the pandemic and leave New York City to explore university teaching and other endeavors.

Putting his own teaching strategy in action, he made a gutsy decision to see what he could learn outside the city’s expansive, yet insular, scene. While spending time on faculty at Penn State University and University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, he also achieved an MFA in theater arts through the University of Idaho.

Head to the link the comments to learn about Wolcott’s warm-up, classroom approach, and take on filming class.
