Today is the day - the book officially launches in Chicago this evening. I’m thankful for family and friends who’ve been there by my side. My wife of almost 10 years (in a few weeks) has supported me without hesitation. Thankful for a Saviour Who has never given up on me. Here we go! Let’s launch this baby!

I determined for my 42nd year of life to do or finish hard projects. This has turned into authoring a chapter on my journey, helping launch a new capital campaign for work, and in one month, graduating from college 26 years after I started.

Wondering if you can do it? Absolutely. Starting is 75% of the battle. Be willing to put yourself out there for things that might stretch you and then grow. Start simple!

One of the best leadership lessons I got was from a man named Howard Hendricks. In his book Teaching to Changed Lives said this, “As long as I live; I learn, and as long as I learn; I live.”

So much of life is found in continuing to learn and grow. Want to stop living with purpose? Stop learning!
