Richmond Racing

We made our way to Enid Speedway for the Todd Decker Classic last night. We drew the # 6 pill at driver check in but the redraw in drivers meeting was a #39 so the new #1 went to 39 which means we were a lot higher draw. Started in 5th for the heat race and car was a touch free. We picked up 1 spot and that put us in the show. Rolling off 12th in the feature we had a tough road ahead of us. We made a few changes and WOW the car was on point. We battled our way all the way up to 4th picking up 8 spots. On to 81 Speedway tonight to see if we can continue moving forward. Race recap from opening night at 81 Speedway. Drew pill #8 when we showed up. That pill draw put us starting on the pole of the 4th heat. We took the Win in the heat. After the redraw for the feature we rolled out in P3 behind the one and only Beau Davis. For 3 laps we poured on the pressure and at one point thought we might take the lead. We missed the setup just a tad and were a bit tight in the center. We ended up finishing in 2nd place. This is a great start to begin the season. Have to thank everyone for coming out and supporting us and the track. Thanks to all of our sponsors this year.
