Let’s join in giving thanks to God for Cecil Lilliston and his 35 years as Hospital Chaplain with Ascension Via Christi (Wichita). While today marks his final shift as hospital chaplain, his prayers, presence, patience, personality, peacefulness, persistence, and prophetic perseverance will linger with every person and room that he has encountered. Now let’s pray that Cecil will keep finding playful purpose (more p words!) in this next season of life.
