Tomorrow, August 13, we will be celebrating Stephanie’s 51st birthday!! 🎉🎈

Stephanie is currently tied for the third oldest African elephant in North America, with the average life expectancy for African Elephants being roughly 38 years.

Stephanie is part of a multigenerational herd at our zoo and keepers have prepared special birthday enrichment for her and the rest of the herd!

Festivities will be located at the Elephants of the Zambezi River Valley Overlook and start around 10 AM. Come help us celebrate this graceful old gal! 🥳🐘
