Long-term neurological conditions following nerve blocks due to injury during the procedure are an important topic for anesthesiologists and pain specialists. While extensive research has examined the incidence rates of neurological complications associated with individual risk factors, little is known about how the interactions between these factors may change the effects of these conditions. With an incidence rate of 0.24%, these events are extremely rare; however, the morbidity associated with these injuries demands careful consideration and analysis of the contributing factors.
