Overdid myself today so here is where the story telling begins.

Step 1 of my business strategy: Getting the 1,000 tabs open in my brain onto a single piece of paper.

Standard business advice tells you to "just sit down and do the work." But when you have a neurosparkly brain 🧠✨, "the work" usually feels like trying to organize a hurricane while you’re standing in the middle of it.

Most people think journaling is just this cute, optional mindfulness practice. It's a mission-critical operational tool for me.

I can’t jump into QuickBooks or a high-level advisory call with a client when my brain is still processing every detail of family logistics, a book draft snippet, and what I’m planning to do for marketing all at once. If I don't do the brain dump first, I’m just... making expensive noise.

I have to get those 1,000 open tabs onto paper to quiet the amygdala (fight or flight center). Once the noise is out, the Financial Alchemist can actually show up.

This isn't about being "organized" in the traditional, rigid sense. It’s about nervous system regulation so I can actually use my strategic brain instead of just fighting it.
