Here’s what you need to know as a homeowner:
-Evergy handles the lines to your house and the meter itself.
-You’re responsible for the weatherhead (the pipe where power connects), meter box, and any damage to the wiring on your home.

If those parts are damaged, Evergy can’t reconnect you until they’re repaired by a licensed electrician.
