On Friday, Geary County Schools USD 475 hosted a ribbon cutting for their new Early Childhood Center, designed by Schaefer Architecture and built by Hutton Design+Build.
Officially opening to students for the 2026-27 school year and located in Junction City, KS, the new 70,000 SF building has 32 classrooms and consolidates all early childhood education programs and the district's infant toddler services department into one building, streamlining educational resources and providing evaluation space specifically designed for three and four-year-olds.

Educational projects not only shape buildings, but they leave a lasting change on the daily experiences of students, staff and the broader community.
Hutton Design+Build partnered with Schaefer Architecture and Halstead-Bentley USD 440 School District to renovate and improve facilities across the district.
