At Pure State Construction, we build things right the first time. For this local build, our team:
- Removed the old ledger board, cut back the siding with precision, and installed a brand-new ledger with a heavy-duty flashing system to keep the house weather-tight.
- Framed the new platform to match the patio geometry, building wide, wrap-around steps that land flush on the concrete.
- Dressed the framework in durable Mocha TimberTech and installed a solid vertical baluster rail system in matte black.

For this Wichita home, we took a dated hallway bathroom and completely modernized it, starting with the framework.
Because this classic home was built pre-1978, our team prioritized safety by following strict KDHE lead-safe (RRP) guidelines before any demolition began. Once the space was clear, we focused on high-impact upgrades:
- Installed a brand-new Alcove tub paired with a clean, large-format tile surround stretching all the way to the ceiling, complete with an integrated 12x20 accent niche.
- Scraped the old popcorn ceiling for a fresh knockdown texture, updated the vanity, and recessed the new medicine cabinet smoothly into the wall.
- We mounted a massive 74x36 custom mirror on the wall opposite the vanity, instantly doubling the light and making the entire room feel twice as large.
