This is one of my favorite songs off the 2021 ‘Still That Kid’ album. I was on a flight from Wichita to Nashville and ran into my pal @nicatnitemusic ….I was headed to out to finish up some studio work and she happened to be on the same flight. After a conversation about our small town upbringings in rural KS she sent me this song. It hit home immediately for me and she was gracious enough to let me run with it. It was a last minute add on the record but it sure didn’t sound like an afterthought when we were done with it. @jordanhorsch shot and edited the video and @jillmartinmusic headed up the directors chair right here in their hometown of Andale, KS. No actors were used at all these were just friends and family and they crushed it! @meganengels and her husband Trent played the lead characters along with the Andale HS football team who just won their 8th state championship this season. Cheers to small towns in middle America 🍻🇺🇸
