Higher Ground

Today Higher Ground celebrated the graduation of this year’s practicum students with a surprise breakfast! As part of their social work degrees these future social workers came to Higher Ground for hands on experience in addiction counseling. They learned from experienced counselors on how to run groups, how state policy choices affect clients, and how their own internal growth and healing increases their ability to help others. We know they’re all going to go on to do great things. ConGRADulations Alayna, Jodi, Lynsey and Tevin! Additional thanks goes to our Clinical Coordinator, Stephen Wagner, for manning the griddle!
