Since I started shooting architecture, the school projects continue to be more elaborate and grand. When Manhattan High School, in Manhattan KS, decided to merge their freshman class of 450 students, the new west wing was created to accomodate the nearly 2000 students this August. The new architecture was seamlessly merged with the existing building and will house math, science and special education classes. Two connected rooms will house the district’s behavioral disorder and emotional disorder program, which is part of special education. The main floor also includes a large open space with industrial design cues that will be a “quiet lunchroom.” Congratulations to McCownGordon Constructionfor this award winning project!

Innovation Campus at Wichita State University has become home to so many great businesses, schools of science and learning centers that it's sometimes overlooked that there is an amazing hotel positioned right in the middle! Hyatt Place, designed by GLMV Architecture, Inc. brings comfort to those travelers working on campus. Just a beautiful facility and a real privilege to photograph.

When you get a call from a national Commercial Real Estate Developer to photograph a shopping center in your own back yard, that's exciting! It was such a great time getting to spotlight some of the new additions to Bradley Fair in NE Wichita, KS. The all-new Nordstrom Rack, Trader Joes, Home Grown Restaurant, Williams-Sonoma, Lululemon, Warby Parker, Sephora, Pottery Barn and First Mile Kitchen. If you haven't been to Bradley Fair in awhile, it's a must!
