NICET needs your expertise!

The Systems Software Integrator (SSI) certification program is currently under development. The next phase, an in-person Job Task Analysis workshop, will be conducted at NSPE/NICET's office in Alexandria, VA, November 14-16. The purpose of the SSI certification is to promote common practices and qualifications among the software developers throughout the supply chain and provide a linchpin with the engineering design community to reduce risk and costs associated with systems software failures. During the JTA, experts will define the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be measured and will help define the minimally qualified candidate profile.

Participating in NICET development efforts provides volunteers with an opportunity to make meaningful, mission-based contributions to your profession while connecting with other leaders shaping your field.
