Smoke Detector Event Success!
Last Saturday, volunteers from the The Arizona Burn Foundation , American Red Cross, Williams Fire Department, Native Air 22 Williams, and our amazing community came together for our first-ever Smoke Detector Walk in Williams. And what an impact it made!

Saturday’s accomplishments:

• 88 smoke alarms installed
• 27 homes are now safer
• 71 residents received home fire safety education
• 10 dedicated volunteers donated their time

This was our very first event of this kind in Williams, and it was a huge success. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who showed up, knocked on doors, climbed ladders, shared information, and helped us make our community safer. Your partnership and enthusiasm mean so much.

A huge thank-you to the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for generously allowing us to use their facility during the event. Your support helped make the day run smoothly and made a big difference.

This is just the beginning. Our goal is simple and important: a working smoke detector in every home in Williams.

If you live in Williams and do not have a working smoke detector, we’re here to help:
• Call the Williams Fire Department at 928 635 4451 ext. 227
• Or stop by the Williams Public Library to sign up for a free installation

Let’s keep this momentum going and continue working together to protect our community—one home at a time.
