Lyrids Meteor Shower
On Earth Day with the moon at 9% fullness, we witnessed a scorching orange fly meteor across the dark sky that lasted 2 seconds! Though not captured in this photo, this is the view of the night sky that we get here at Trappers!

We truly have the sweetest guests! One lovely couple this weekend brought us a huge bag of fresh grapefruit from their family’s home in Mesa!

They got to enjoy loaded omelettes, applewood smoked bacon, toast, and yogurt parfaits, while we now get to enjoy the taste of some bright valley sunshine as we await our next snow up here in the pine forest!

And don’t worry, nothing goes to waste here… those citrus rinds and all of our other food scraps go to feed the critters at our neighboring farm 🐷🐔🐮
