Father's Day goodie bags went out at the office this week, and the dads of Majestic Pines stopped by exactly how we figured they would.

Some came in solo on their way to start the day. A few were dragged in by kids who wanted to be the ones to hand the bag over. A couple just happened to be passing through and ended up walking out with one too. Either way, every dad here got the same thing: a small thank you and a few minutes of being told it.

Snow cones in the office last week, and the line moved at exactly the pace it should have.

Kids took their time picking flavors, the way kids do when the decision actually matters. Grown-ups grabbed one for themselves and pretended it was just for the kids. Blue tongues walked out the door. Sticky fingers headed back to the pool.

The good kind of Monday afternoon. The kind that doesn't really need a reason!
