Update… just never who you are going to run into at the Kentucky Derby. We got to spend some time with Mark McCully and his lovely wife Gerry in the Paddocks!

As always… Turner Meadow Ranch is happy to be participating in the Texas Angus Association Spring Spectacular Sale in Salado on May 9, 2026. We always try to feature Spring Pairs in this sale.

Lots 49, 51, 52, 53, and 54 will have exciting 3-4 mos old calves at side. The Lot 60 is just a coming three year old female bred to Wilks Crick for a fall calf.

One of the absolute highlights of the Texas Angus Association’s annual meeting and banquet, was the induction of Phil (Road Daddy) Stoll into the Texas Angus Hall of Fame.

My family and I were honored to share a table with Phil and some of his co-workers at the banquet. There is no one more deserving of this honor than Phil. He has helped so many TAA members in marketing their cattle for several decades.

OKC… Denver… and now it’s time for Ft. Worth. The Texas Angus Association Stars of Texas Sale in conjunction with the Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is the highlight of the third big Angus event.

Cowtown just feels like home to us. We’re excited to be participating again in the Stars sale. Lots 7, and 55 & 55a are our live lots and we feature Lot 18 as a very special heifer calf pregnancy from the very reliable Shorita donor. Buyer will have pick of three heifers by Byrd Bullseye after DNA.
