Building Blocks Early Learning Center

We are getting in the Halloween spirit with our spooky spiderweb process art. The children rolled paint covered marbles over the paper in their tray to make the web lines. 🕸️

Then we spent a day looking at and building the parts of the spider, including their 8 legs, and their even sets of eyes. They brought their two projects together by putting their spiders onto their webs! 🕷️

The children had a blast creating salt dough sea creatures! They worked together to measure ingredients and mix the dough.
Then it was time to play with it!

They eventually rolled out their dough and cut out their ocean animals. After baking them, the children enjoyed painting their now rock-hard “art cookies!” What a fun process to create a special keepsake. 🐬
