🐾Domestic violence doesn’t just happen to strangers, it affects our friends, neighbors, coworkers and family members. In fact, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will experience domestic violence in their lifetime.

For many survivors, one of the biggest concerns when seeking safety is what will happen to their beloved pet. No one should have to choose between their own well being and the animal they love. That’s why we’re building a dedicated Purple Leash foster team, a compassionate network of fosters who can provide temporary, loving homes for pets while their families take the next steps toward safety and stability. By opening your home to a pet in need, you’re helping keep families together and offering hope during a difficult time. 💜🐾
