State Convention update…

Our Agriscience competitors interviewed today. We had two third place finishes, one fourth place finish and a FIRST PLACE FINISH!

Rosa Dougan-Ondo placed first in Food Products and Processing Division 1 and will move onto national judging.

Alana Sanchez and Mya Dyer placed 4th in state in Plants Systems Div 2

Rylee Grace Hester and Brock Bass placed 3rd in state in Animal Systems Div 2

Britton Bryant placed 3rd in state inPower, Structural Technical Systems Div 1

We have also had a great time at the Ocmulgee Native American Mounds!

Mary Agnes Pasatiempo is our school level winner for the Barrow County Farm Bureau Ag Bookmark contest! Ms. Ashley Lowery, Office Manager of BCFB, came by and presented Mary Agnes with her prize!

Brock Bass is STATE BOUND in the Prepared Public Speaking Leadership Development Event. Brock will compete at State Convention in April!

We had a blast speaking at Yargo Elementary’s Farm Club! Some of our FFA officers brought the chicks we hatched in our agriculture classes and shared a little bit about the poultry industry to our neighbors at Yargo. Some of our officers even got to see some of their former teachers when they attended Yargo.
