Seven rowers. Three boats walked. That is the story of Manon’s first H***h, and it tells you everything you need to know about her. When the U19 8+ had an accident right before their race and had to take the line a rower short, most crews would have folded. Not this one. They raced shorthanded and still walked three boats. Manon calls it unforgettable, but we call it legendary.

As a National Honor Society member and AP Scholar at West Orange High School, Manon brought that same never-quit energy to everything she did at OARS. This fall she heads to Seattle University, trading the Butler Chain for the Pacific Northwest. We have no doubt she will make waves there too.

A huge shoutout goes to Jane, Sophia B., Bianca, and Gabby for being by her side since day one, and to the Collot family for making it all possible. Congratulations, Manon. We are so proud of you!!
